I beckoned him to me. He looked away, hurt. I went to him, bent down and kissed him. He could not be pacified with a kiss. I sat in front of him, looked straight in his eyes and said 'sorry.' That did the magic. He got off from the chair, rubbed himself against my legs and purred in contentment.
