CONSPIRED!

I finally believe in Paulo Coelho’s conspiracy theory, i.e., When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you achieve it.

Since I read Lousie.L.Hay’s ,”You can Heal Your Life” some 7 years ago, I wanted to get a foot reflexology massage done which she has highly recommended in her book. Somehow, I never got around doing it……just kept putting it off. Well, a bit lazy maybe….no, lazy for sure.  But, by desiring it I had already sent my intention to the universe. And so I was pleasantly surprised when I received a phone call from a Spa saying that I was entitled to their promotional offer which included foot reflexology massage and they were giving a huge discount on that. The middle class is a sucker for discounts and I fell for one. I was finally going to have a foot reflexology massage; the universe had finally conspired in my favour.

I and hubby availed this offer and went to the Spa to keep our appointment. My first Spa experience. We were introduced to our respective masseurs and were led away our separate ways. I surrendered to my masseur’s first touch. Actually, I had pain in my legs, mostly imaginary…..in anticipation of the relaxation that was to be experienced.

My left leg was a bit guarded, (actually it was all in my mind) analyzing every touch, every pressure, trying to feel relaxed and by the time I could actually relax, my masseur had shifted to my right leg. I did let go of my guard and my leg was more receptive.

At the end of 30 minute session, I was relaxed. It was good, it was tingling too……worth every bit of the discounted amount. If I had to pay the actual price, then I would have felt cheated!

Well, I should not be complaining as my wish was fulfilled. Now, I hope the universe will conspire in fulfilling my wish of owning a Volkswagen Beetle, Red. Hope the universe is not driven by the 7 year itch!!
