SO LONG....FAREWELL.

He came,
He saw,
He conquered
He left
The exit as quite
as the entrance
Without as much as
A glance
Feelings, time, emotions,
Squandered
Was she sad?
In fact, glad :)

  4. Ah, the joy of goodbyes, sometimes gladdens the heart. I love the subtle humour in this one. Your poetry is getting really awesome, day by day.

  6. They exceeded their welcome, relatives especially! Young hearts though can count on going through a learning process which may be hurting, sometimes! Nicely Janu!

  11. I like the ending too....as I commented on Mary's poem, I always add "their loss". And a cackle!

  18. I enjoyed this light-hearted piece, nice take on the typically over-dramatized romantic ending.
