Some days
Of our lives
Are dark and gloomy
Like monsoon clouds
Pregnant, threatening
to pour. Bleak.
And there are days
With sunny side up
Bright and perfect
With a spring in
Each of our step.
Occasional rainbow
Splashing colour
Breaking the pattern
The mood elevates
A reason to celebrate.
But, more often than not
Mundane and routine
Is the rule of our lives
Where, everyday is a
50 shades of grey!
