“In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest where no-one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art.”

ALONE BUT NOT LONELY.
Wanting to soar Wanting to fly Do not let anyone Pull your string.
I enjoy my company With my thoughts in symphony Never tired of myself Dreaming, Planning and At times plotting Content and happy.
with the thoughts in symphony...nice..i like that.. and good to being able to spend time just on our own every once and a while...fly a bit..let us drift and see where the wind carries the thoughts...nice
...being alone doesn't always mean being lonely too... there are just some things in life that are not meant to be shared right away but maybe in some future time when it feels right in time & place.. do not let anyone pull your string... fly...fly.. soar high... ah, great message or rather a reminder here... smiles...
nice...the happiness is easy to see...the interesting thing is not letting others pull your string, but living in community as well...thoughts in symphony has a nice peace to it as well..smiles.
Oh, goodness, that is exactly how I feel when I'm writing! You expressed the feelings perfectly here, Janu. It is in my time alone, the being still, the listening, that I know God is near - thus, I never feel lonely. :) Blessings!
I have been through all the posts on the homepage.. All of them are exceptional.. Even the short ones, I have become your FAN. Really. And i am bookmarking you NOW. Awesome creations. LOVED IT.
Wonderfully expressed and the same thought of contentment is reflected in your 6 word memoir too! I love my company too and I need a daily dose of it! :)

DeleteWe decide ourselves. Invariably we'll be in control of our destiny. Good policy to keep, Janu!

ReplyDeleteSo many of us are too scared to be alone and refuse to be our own best-friend.
ReplyDeleteAlone and lonely are not the same at all. I am usually quite content with my own company. I get lonely when I don't have a choice about being alone.
ReplyDeleteIf it is for a longer period of time, I will get lonely too. But, otherwise I am quite content.
