It is natural for parents to be protective. They do not want their kids to get hurt or go through pain. But, nature takes its course. We all have a curious mind and a sense of rebellion...and so, however careful we may think we are; we fall, get hurt, cry, feel the pain, and eventually carry on.
Participating in Corinne Rodriguez's 100 words on Saturday.
The title "Be Careful" reminds me of this song -
true in that we all fall down...and we all have to learn to get back up...being sheltered from it only leaves us hung out to dry when we get older...

ReplyDeleteI guess it's every parent's duty to say: 'Be careful.'
ReplyDeleteAnd every child's response to say, 'Nothing will happen to me. I'm invincible!' ;)
Love it, Janu! Glad you participated Corinne's 100 Word challenge.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
