CROSSROADS

It was another year
It was another time
It was THAT age
 I thought you were mine.
Life was passing by
With usual twists & turns
Reaching milestones by the clock
With a few wrong turns.
Met you at the crossroads
Going about your life
The past catches up and goads
Tempting me to walk with you again.
Tricks, Tricks and more tricks
Heart never ceases to play
Skip-hop; Skip- hop;
Beats galloping away!
You swept me, crushed me
Made me gasp for air
I stopped struggling
My heart, you did tear!
Camouflaging our feelings
Pretending not to know
Parallel we walk together
Never to meet , never to own.
We carry on alone…..
Because some seeds
Are never meant to be sown!

  1. The mind sure can play tricks and so true, some seeds don't get sown!

  2. There are times when we are disillusioned
And times we are camouflaged…but the realization finally keep us on the right track even if we missed it at the crossroads…
    Happy Onam anyway
