NIGHT.

 


Some say it brings gloom
A sure sign of doom
It seems long when thoughts cloud
Short when tried
For some its dark and ominous
With bad luck, it is synonymous

It also spells beauty
That which the light blinds
Nature reveals its hidden booty
It's also a time to unwind

The night queen unfurls and blossoms
Filling the air with her fragrance

It also spells silence
A time to sort out your thoughts
It's a time when I find balance
Visualize on my goals and plans

It's also a time to read 
And get lost in its wonderland

Lovers can feel lonley
Or fill it with fantansy
You could be longing
Or in someone's arm - drowning

Try appreciating a firefly in sunlight
Or just open your senses
And fall in love
With the beauty of the Night!
