LOVERS COVE CHALLENGE.

The challenge here is to construct a poem, written by different bloggers. Each blogger gets to write a line, with a word count of 15 words each. Each blogger has to compose a line based on what the last person on the linky has written. The prompt comes from Andy - here.

Title: (to be determined later)
Andy’s line: (word count: 11): “A sleeping flower is more beautiful than a heart without love.”

Kriti’s line:(word count: 14) "But I bleed enjoying your thorns of love, rest awhile so I may breathe"

Punam J R line:  (word count: 14): “The loss of your love, O Heart! Put me to an eternal ignorant sleep”

Rosette Princess's line
:(word count:14):"And bury me somewhere, where my lover won't even find my grave to weep"

Prinyank Dey's line: And let me dream of a distant peace, that keeps swaying from me to him

My line: (Word count 15) Yet, my heart yearns for the time that was wrapped in timeless moments...sweet, memorable.

Go ahead and make your line and link it to Andy's blog.

MAN AND MACHINE...A THIN LINE.

I wish I could see
How he was working on me...
No pain...numbed, just some tugs
Cannot see, he has me covered
Thinks I am weak hearted,
Only if he knew :P
Whirrrr goes the drill
Holes for the screws
Then the hammering
I am bored.
A jet of water
Clears the mess
As he admires his handiwork
A master surgeon he sews up with flair
Sealing my fracture and fate!!

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT.

To each her own;
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder..
And I fell in love...at the first sight.
He has no business being so cute
So hot and downright tempting.
Love his handsomeness...
So fit and sleek...
The redness of his color...I like
Haven't had a ride,
Yet, I fantasize...running my hands over him
Will I be nervous when I take the wheel?
Oh! I know I will enjoy...cos
This is one hell-of-a machine
I want to possess.

ZAPPED!

I was quite zapped with  the idea that how I was ever going to complete this challenge.

Today is the last day.
'Z' is the alphabet.
I have come up with zilch.
I am afflicted with bad cold and am going about my daily chores like a zombie.
I do not have the zeal to write at all.
I see all the zealous writers around me and am guilty a bit for not doing justice to the last post.
All I want to do is take a pill for the flu and sleep....Zzzzzzz!!

MOMENTS

I remember the time when I
Learnt to ride a cycle on my own;

I remember first crush that
Ended and all I did was groan;

I remember myself chasing
my dreams and fracturing my long bone!!!

HEART

Its the center of  your being
......Your core
......Your soul
Its the size of a fist
Encompassing a world within
It is bottomless
Enclosed in a small space
It is spaceless.
A muscle,
Its strong as an iron...
It is not you,
Yet it defines you
A guide, it lights up your path.
When happy, it soars
When excited, it gallops
When sad, it pains
Turns into a tiny,
Claustrophobic place.
Gets hurt many a time
Bears the scars proudly
Scars of a life well lived.

LET US...

Let us raise above
The color of the skin
From where we live in
To whom we pray
Or follow which religion

Let us raise above
Hatred,
Animosity,
And the borders
That limits us.

Let us unite
In love
For humanity and
For a better world.

YOURS TRULY....

Dear Friends,

This is an open letter to all of you. This is the penultimate blog of the Blogging A-To-Z Challenge, April 2012.

If not for the push and the vote of confidence from Sulekha, Sweepy Jean, Tameka and of course, Andy, I would not have taken part at all. It is because of their undying support and also other bloggers from the FB groups that I was able to finish this.

Yes, it has been daunting and mentally draining too. A great learning process. I had to stretch my limits especially with the alphabets after 'T'. Now, I can breathe a sigh of relief and take a much needed break. But, will I?

I have not been able to visit other bloggers who are taking part in this challenge as I have been on vacation since the 15th of this month. Thanks for the support from all of you who have visited me and followed me. Thanks to the A-To-Z team to

To my fellow challengers - great going guys, it has been a pleasure sharing this space with you. Love you all.

Yours truly,
Janu.

SOMETHING AMISS.

The pain,
Unyielding
Yearning
For you
The moments
Only memories
Can I have it back?

None other like you
Irreplaceable
A beacon
You led me
Me a lamb
Followed you
How to reduce this ache?

A void
A crevice deep
A sensation
Numb
Took a piece of  me
When you left...
Come back for my sake.

XEROX

A girl's best friend once she becomes herself a woman, is always her mother.
I would love to have been her xerox copy...she was so beautiful both in and out. I have written extensively about her on my blog...so this is it.
