We fought the British
For freedom
Yet, we still fight
Against a system
Of power;
Against corruption;
Lack of basic
Amenities and values
For humans
More so for the
Freedom of women.
No one is perfect,
And so are the Nations.
We also fight
Within ourselves
With our fears,
Our demons,
Our thoughts....
Which make us
And also break us
In spite of all the lacks
We still celebrate
LIFE!

DeleteI just read an Independence post over at Irfan Uddin's and the sentiments for your country are really strong. I guess there are more positive people praying and working for change and true independence.
