TIME
Will you wait for me? Oh,
Time, I will as much try
Complete my chores
Put my kids to
Sleep, say a
Prayer
And be with
You in a minute
Will you wait for me?
Time, as I have dreams
To conquer,& reach the sky.

so much to do...but sounds like you know your priorities...smiles.
ReplyDeleteMaking a date with Time is a romantic notion. Expressed so nicely here. I like the design of the post as well. Cheers!

ReplyDeleteLovely moment in time. I'm always intrigued by time as a dimension, about its direction, about whether it's an understandable entity. I want to travel in time, to it and through it. I love the way you crafted words into time and measured, meted and metered it into poetry. Well done!
ReplyDeletelove it - those grains of sand slip too quickly to the bottom of the hourglass, dont they?
ReplyDeleteTime and tides wait for no man. But in this instance please wait. There are things to be done!
