Long, straight and silky
Owner’s pride – my crowning glory
Every woman’s identity -
On my hips, you would sway.
You were a tease, to the boys
When I twirled the locks, seemingly coy
In the sun, you glistened
Which guys want’d to touch & smoothen
He loved me more, cos’ of you
He was cross as I cropped you
I evolved and so I felt the need
To change you and style you
Short, chic and savvy
Full of bounce and volume
Have never felt so groovy
A happy love triangle- you, me and Dove.
