NIRVANA

The dense white cloak
Blankets the view
Masking the beauty
Cold, grey with
Muted stupor,
Quaintly enticing.
The Golden ray
From above lifts
The veil
To reveal the splendour
And the true Nature.
Isn’t it true of ourselves?
Easy hiding in the
Dark, it is the light
We seek.

  1. Janu, this was beautiful. How true it is that we hide, afraid of showing who we are and discovering what it all means.
Your poems are beautiful and go right to my heart.
    Hugs,
    Leah

  2. We hide from others... we hide so that we may never reveal our true self... afraid of what others may say or think.. How wrong this is.. to reveal our full beauty like nature does can bring nothing but acceptance and love.

  3. How true? We are always hiding from the light, pretending to be someone we are not

  4. very well written...there is no point in keeping a false facade, sooner or later it shows..and the faster we do so,it helps in living a better life.
