He lurks in the dark corners
Himself a dark, shadowy figure
As big as one conceives
Him to be
His has power - black!
He shows up when
You are vulnerable
And, in his eyes
You see yourself, mirrored
Cowering...
Your cataract vision
Creating a pseudo world
Of comfort
But, you are shackled
And you follow him
Like a faithful dog.
In that deathly silence
You hear it...
A voice so tiny
Muffled by his cloak
A whisper
Vibrates through your body
Reverberates your core
Pulsating
Breaking the shackles
Binds fall off
And you SEE....Light!
Its You who has to
Conquer your fear
Conquer yourself
And, then only will you
Conquer your world.
