This canvas was blank
You painted it
With vibrant emotions
And myriad colors.
You do not have a wand
No magical words
Yet, everything becomes
Magical around you.
Composing brilliant symphonies
Playing with the chords
Of the heart
You orchestrated
Life like a melody.
Molding, chiseling
And sculpting
Breathing life and beauty
Into this formless form.
You don't have wings
Yet, you watch over
Engineering everything
A master craftsman
Spinning and weaving words
Making me fly with you..
Are you a Polymath or Lord?

smiles...it is pretty cool to see an artist at work...moulding and shaping whether it is with word or paint or whatever medium...it is def like magic...smiles.

DeleteSomehow I linked your "Renaissance Man" with your Rumi quote and my own response to Rilke, so that my first take on it was the way such a person could set up his canvas near yours and love. My second take is, yes, this is how the world grows around two when they find the magic, the music, the form, the spinning wheel, the wings.
ReplyDeleteI am humbled...thanks Susan.
Deletei really love the layers to this! magic everywhere!
