In reality it’s just
In numbers,
Yet, we anticipate
And look forward
Hoping…
This beginning is different
Than the last
Renewing the promises
And the vows
Made to ourselves,
Dreaming the dreams
Pursuing things….
Happiness
Health
Wealth
Love and peace,
All within our grasp
And within ourselves
A change which can be
Made any day,
By changing our perspective
No need to wait
For a new year to begin.

ReplyDeleteThanks friends...:-)
ReplyDeleteYes, we can change ourselves at anytime - how powerful that is!
ReplyDeleteThat is true and very very beautifully put. However the New Year does give some of us that marker (read deadline) to change things or bring in new hope... Its just that and nothing else for me. Loved being here
ReplyDeleteChange... is constant no matter how small ...subtle or large or obvious!
ReplyDeletevery nice!
ReplyDeleteNobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending...very well written..Janu.

ReplyDeleteHello Janu.
ReplyDeleteI am one who likes my routine. I know a little change is good...just takes me a bit longer to embrace it (smile). Love the ending message.
