HIS – STORY AND PRIMITIVE INSTINCTS.

The castle was ominous and cold
Tales larger than life
Stories of betrayal, conceit and deceit
Of love, passion and debauchery.
The fire long extinguished
But, kindled in the heart
Bursts of flame reflected
In the eyes, that rakes it.
A chill runs down the spine
Warmed by that spark
Involuntary shiver and goose bumps
Aching for the touch.
Masked faces and emotions
Futile attempts to hide the real
Conversation cease
Silence a heavy drape
Eyes meets, sending signals
Volumes are spoken
Without uttering a word!
Feelings taut
Threatening to break the restraint
Breathing laboured
Thoughts clouded.
Unsure, yet guided
By a primitive force
They move towards each other,
Beads of sweat,
Parched throat...thirsty
Arms trying to reach...hungry;
Who will break this spell???

  3. The castle was ominous and cold... i much like your set up in the castle here as a metaphor..between the thick, cold walls lots of things going on.. much tension in this...and hopefully someone can break the spell one day...maybe with a kiss like in the good old fairy tales...see i'm all the romantic even in such tense surroundings..smiles...

  4. your allusions to relationships in this are very nice...i like the metaphor of the castle for the cold entrapment...which of course leads to look for heat elsewhere...nice touches in this...

  5. Is this erotic moment about to consummate itself or the everlasting momentbwhen that special chemistry transcends time? You have caught it well here.
