I dreamed a dream
Fuelled it with passion
Nurtured it for years
Trying to overcome
The obstacles I had set
Mental, physical and imagined.
The realization of this dream
Was within my reach
Had to go thro’ the door
But, found it locked!
I knocked and pushed,
Raved, ranted and cried...but?
Another door opened
A part of this dream
I felt elated
Charged with new
Enthusiasm and zeal
I conquered it!
But, this closed door
Beckoned me
Something strong lured me
Towards it...again and again
I went near that door
Saw the light thro’ the door
A whole new path
Opened up for me
I ran towards it,
Grabbed it,
Felt it and
Embraced it.
HE has brought me this far
He showed me the path
HE will help me cross-over
My faith will make me realize my dream!
