MY HEART.



It flutters like a bird
Hops like a frog;
Gallops like a horse
“Dhak” “Dhak” “Dhak” “Dhak”
That’s the way my heart goes!

Some thoughts…playful,
Light and gay,
Lift me up and my spirits
Coloring me and my day!

The thoughts of pain
Tightens the chest
Makes it hard to breath
Ties me down, a feeling
Hard to wrest.

My mind chatters
Disturbs my peace
I try to go inward
Let the noises release.

The heart knows best
It is your mirror
Shows you the truth
Leads you through a path
Takes you where you wanna go!
