It was a journey
Of a personal kind
Kindled with passion
Of body and mind.
The preparation arduous
The task seemed monstrous
But nothing that I
Could ever overcome.
I tried;
I gave my best;
Pushed myself to the limit
And broke my leg in the process.
An unfortunate detour
Nothing serious to dwell upon
Things are bound to happen
Time to look at the goal again.
Same dream
Same is the destination
Never will I let diminish
The spirit and the zeal for another try.
I believe that life is a journey, often difficult and sometimes incredibly cruel, but we are well equipped for it if only we tap into our talents and gifts and allow them to blossom.

Sometimes, we will stumble, we will fall & we might even take a detour, but our will is strong enough to enable us to pick ourselves up, brush of our feet & try again. From what I know of you, you have strength, courage & determination. You tried & that's all you can do for now. You will get another chance to achieve your goal...of that I have no doubt.
