NOT JUST A SOFA.
It was Red
It was soft
It was bright
And so right.
Seat of many tales
For many seasons
Warm, cosy and
Affectionate.
A love seat,
A comfort zone
For curling up &
To shed a tear.
Lumpy and creaky
A silent spectator
Witness to love
And life lived well.
For Magpie Tales

...not much life in it now! I do love a love-seat, though.
