Hi, meet Time, my friend since birth. Time has been with me just like Shadow. We have been inseparable.
We breezed and ran through childhood wanting to grow-up. Thought growing up was cool.
We arrived at teenage full of stars in our eyes. College, studies, boys, romance and dreams, had fun. Requested Time for more time. “You have time,” was the reply.
Matrimony, family, kids had no time to think anything else. Saw my kids enjoying their time, reminding me that childhood was more ‘cool’ than growing up.
There were times when I was miserable. Dutifully, Time took my hand and pulled me through saying – “good times don’t last, so do the bad times. It is a circle…time heals.”
“I need more time with mom.” – said I.
“Her time is up.” – replied Time.
I cursed Time, raved, ranted, cried and pleaded. Time did not relent. Then, I understood….Time doesn’t wait for anyone or anything. We can’t buy Time.
I started focusing on the things I liked to do and I started enjoying myself with Time.
Time is of essence, Time is good and then at times it is bad, there isn’t enough Time, and then there is so much Time. It is up to me what I do and how I make use of my Time.

“Life is all about timing... the unreachable becomes reachable, the unavailable become available, the unattainable... attainable. Have the patience, wait it out It's all about timing.”

Very well written...Janu
Great story! So true. We can't buy time. We can only attempt to cherish it as it flies by.
ReplyDeleteTime will take us to the place where we deserve to be, and only time can heal us.

ReplyDeleteNow is the time - the only time we have is NOW.
The past gone, the future not yet come.
Now is the time… NOW
deep, you truly take time and how people of all levels deal with it seriously.
ReplyDeleteCheers.
I felt like you'd read my life's story, but then again I guess we all go through time this way. First playing with it, wasting it carelessly because there's so much of it. Then realizing that it's slipping through our fingers like sand. Then we boil over with anger and sadness because 'time waits for no one,' and it's slipped away so fast and then it's gone. We wish we could go back and treat it better, with respect. Too late, our time is up.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed this. Will definitely visit again.
