Fantasy of many men
Envy of women,
She set fire,
On and off screen.
At heart she was lost
Always looked for love
But paid the cost.
A heart throb,
A beauty enchant,
Sensual yet sweet,
A child at heart,
Broken home and dreams;
She was a doll
Made of porcelain
Fragile,
Prisoner of her ghosts
Which muddled her mind
And snuffed out her life!!

ReplyDeleteThis is one of the best tribute to my idol Marlyn I've read! Oh, she is eternal! Your every word speaks out your love for her!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful, so true to her tragic story, and I would guess the story of many others.
