TODAY - THE WAY OF LIFE.

Looming and luminous
Against the dark skies
Tall and menacing in the day
Taller shadows
Prophecy of a doomsday!
Broken, battered, vacant eyes
Beseeching sights and heavy sighs
Drowned by the cacophony
And noise
Contrasting lives
For joy, we strive,
Endless- cheerless jive.
Frenetic existence
Shrinking patience
Burgeoning distance
Automated enthusiasm
Some price we pay for urbanization.

  3. true that...there is a price we pay...still love cities...not sure though if i really would want to live in big city for a long time..

  4. Love your description... makes me wonder why we subject ourselves to the world of big city. Then I look at the picture and there is a stark lovely seductiveness there.
