MOVING ON.

I am here, a constant
Some came in,
Some walked out,
Some walked all over….
Births, deaths;
Trials, tribulations;
Pain, joy….
I learned some
Then I didn’t
I grew and evolved;
What if’s,
But’s,
Should have,
Could have….
No use of these words,
Moving on
Looking forward to a
New day and a new beginning.

  3. Moving forward and leaving the regrets behind . . .
    How coincidental is it that I just wrote a reflection on this very subject yesterday? Wow!
    As always, love the ease and expression in your words, Janu!

  5. One problem with gazing too frequently into the past is that we may turn around to find the future has run out on us...And I have done enough of that...Great post Janu..Wishing you a very happy new year.

  22. This is such a true poem. Love that you write about how life is and what happens in our lifetimes. So many people come and go, some change our lives in ways we may not know but they all affect us if even with just a smile.

    I totally agree with what Brian said about how sometimes we need to forget things in our past. It can be a hard thing to do but it is a good thing to learn how. Good memories are the only things we should focus on. So hard, but it is a work in progress because bad memories can make us bitter.

    Thank you so much for sharing your poem with this weeks Theme Thursday. A very nice addition.

    Happy New Year!

    God bless.

  24. Hello Janu.
    How right you are...everything around us changes, but we are the constant in whatever we do. We can never go back, but we can learn from the past & use it to grow & move forward.
    Very nicely expressed.
    Thanks for sharing. Nice to see you.
