VOODOO.

The tiny needles sting
Making me bleed internally
Pain – sweet and bitter
Unexplained.
Wearing my heart
On my sleeve like a charm.
Your love, an amulet;
A holy candle burning bright
Am in trance with
Your spirit within me
Like a poison spreading
Possessing me…
A spell cast by your voodoo.

  5. Bittersweet, indeed! Your words are as sharp and precise as needles. Just splendid, if a bit scary . . . :)

  14. It is scary...hmmm... plus I don't like voodoos, there's something in it... but this also means what you wrote was so intense that I felt it. The bleeding part seems so real...
