The cycle of life
Day in and day out
Nothing out of sorts
Nothing new
Just routine, familiar…
Confined to home
The days are longer
Nights longest
Counting the days…
Sun rises, the arrival of a new day
Bird songs breaking the silence –
Welcome.
Kids smiling bright,
Hugging and kissing me.
Hubby snoring beside-
Comforting.
Feline family huddled together –
So angelic,
Hot cuppa of sweet tea
With a dash of ginger…
