VINS MOUSSEUX.

This is bubbly
And, pricey too...
Symbol of power,
Luxury and wealth
The taste unique
Color a crystal hue.
No occasion is complete
Without this,
No victory is victorious
Without this,
Men woo women with this!
007 swore by Cuvee de Prestige
For this, the kings laid siege.
Cava, Epumante, Asti,
Sket, Panciu...
Call it by any name,
Nothing compares to
Blanc de noirs and
Blanc de blance...
THE original French Champagne!!

"Too much of anything is bad, but too much Champagne is just right" - Mark Twain.

  1. Mark Twain was a very wise man. Champagne turns a regular breakfast into an event to remember. Champagne and chocolates, ooh la la, that can lead to many things.

Love where you went with the bubbles. Love me a little or a lot of champagne, especially the Asti.

What a wonderful and bubbly Theme Thursday post.
    Loved it.

    God bless.

  4. Nice description of champagne. I saw a quote about bubbles by Mark Twain that I was thinking of using in my post but didn't.

  8. My dear Janu,
    This is too good!
I am not a drinker, but I have previously sampled a little Asti. As for that 007...he knew a thing or two because he always ended up with all the women! LOL
    Nice one!
    Thanks for sharing.

  12. Champagne is my favorite adult beverage as it still makes you feel like a kid with all of the bubbles! Lovely lines about liquid gold. Always in moderation of course. :-)
