I would like to believe that I am in complete charge of my life. Yet, that's not complete true.
I am in charge of my thoughts though they seem to derail and go off the track often. I have to pull them back on track.
Recently, I read a book and was taken in by an idea. An idea that is growing on me, an idea which I would like to bring to fruition.
"A dream is your creative vision for your life in the future. You must break out of your current comfort zone and become comfortable with the unfamiliar and the unknown."
-Denis Waitley (American Motivational Speaker)
Venturing out of my comfort zone seems intimidating as this is the field I have little knowledge about. Yes, I can learn. And I am learning.
"When the student is ready, the master appears." - Buddhist proverb.
When you are searching for answers, you really see. And I started seeing. The dice started rolling. There are people who believe in me and my idea.
Its time I take charge.

ReplyDeleteI would also say, your comfort zone is simply comfortable because you have been there, the new and exciting things can also become the comfortable.

...time to take charge! sometimes my thoughts are so chaotic I really struggle getting them back on track... it is important for me to have my bag of tools to help me... sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly.
ReplyDeleteSame here Amy...we all are struggling.

ReplyDeleteI also think that breaking free of our comfort zone is very important if we want to experience new things and achieve great success. You can't just do all the same every day and expect something magical to happen. You have to take risks and accept challenges. And, of course, take charge of your life!
Great post!
Thanks Dave.
