The dark brown eyes
The window to
My inside world
Mirror to my soul
My inner kaliedoscope.
Shadows and bags under them
Courtesy, the over active
tear glands!
Little lines around them
Gives character-
Of seeing it all?
Or is it just my thought?
My eyes- like hers...
The left bit smaller
Than the right,
Kinda kind,
Tend to look
Only the good
After overlooking so much.
Talking sometimes
Where the words fail,
Yes, my eyes are like hers
Thou' not in entirity
But, striking similarity
And so they are
My best asset
My silent outlet.
P.S : The picture is mine and my eyes are like my moms.

Deletefocusing in one aspect and providing the depth you did in your response was a treat to read. Just love the details you shared here, the tear duct notion is priceless, as I have the same, I once thought it was allergies, may be, but I've never really been bothered by it, so never really looked into the cause. Really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing.
