LOOKING BEYONG INCONVENCIES.

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.”
Saint Augustine of Hippo

I love to travel.
But, I have not traveled much, as much as I have intended to.
As I live in a city away from my home town so, my holiday destination is always home...that's where all my kin and friends reside.

I have traveled to other places within the country. I so love traveling that I tend to overlook minor inconveniences.

“Travel brings power and love back into your life.”
Rumi

Whenever I go to a new place, I am like a child...looking at everything in wonder, soaking every bit of it, taking it along with me and savoring it as long as my memory allows me.

Whenever I am on a vacation, I make it a point to get up early and explore the place around when the morning is still virgin and in its elements.

Apart from the famous sightseeing places, I would like to see those places where people seldom go. That's where the beauty lies.

I wish I had wings so that I could just fly at whim to those places I love to see.

Nothing is perfect, but, the beauty is to look beyond these imperfections and experience. Except for minor hiccups there has never been a major screw up (gulp) during my vacations.

“I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake. The great affair is to move.”
Robert Louis Stevenson

Toni Lynn wants us to share our vacation experiences on BlogFEST2012.

  1. I, too, like to go to those places where others seldom visit. When Danny and I go to the mountains and stay in a cabin, it is so quiet, peaceful, and isolated. Perfect place to regroup and refresh!
    Great post, as always, Janu!
    Blessings!
