This word defined my life, defined the person I am today –
a person I always wanted to be.
Just like a caterpillar in the cocoon, I too was wrapped up
in the comfort of my domestic life as a homemaker. There was turmoil deep within
my heart, which I always ignored till a point that it was bursting out as frustration.
Life was good, but lacked excitement or that bit of extra ‘oomph’!
When a friend casually asked me the purpose of my life –
the feeling buried in my heart started to make more noise, it wanted to break
free. I thought...”this is it! This was THE message from the universe I was
waiting for. It’s now or never.” If my blogs were not well received, I can
stop. That’s what I thought. But, then again, why would I? Writing was what I
was born for!
Blogging has liberated me. I finally grew wings, broke the
shell of the cocoon, became a beautiful butterfly and took flight. A decision I
never regret. Today, I am more confident as a person. I am ready for challenges,
and I have creative satisfaction. More than anything else, I have some
immensely talented and amazing friends who are also great human beings.
