TAKEN AWAY

Saw you see me
Smiling at me
Could feel your love
With sadness coupled
You want to say something
I can just sense it
Words fail as your
Eyes glisten with unshed tears
Then, I see them
The angels from above
They have come to take you
To your heavenly abode
I cry out,
Voice dying out in my throat
I try to reach out
You are already afloat
There is a deep void
Can give anything
To hear your voice
All I taste is the
Salt in my tears
As you leave your fragrance behind.

  4. This was endearing and touching. Losing someone is a sorrow we all have to bear. The memories will keep us going though. Thanks for this.

  5. Dear Janu,
I can so relate to this, having just attended my brother-in-law's funeral a couple of days ago. Very nicely penned. Thanks for sharing.
